Frasers Tower's surrounding area and its history form a large part of the artist's inspiration. Located at the edge of the seafront within the Telok Ayer neighbourhood, the area can be traced back to Singapore's beginnings as a trading port. The sculpture manifests itself as reminiscent of a water wave, reflecting on the island's source of prosperity, and the dynamism of Frasers Property in its ability to adapt to changing times. 

Drawing inspiration from nature, the sculpture also reflects Frasers Property's commitment to building sustainable communities. With its lush greenery and environmentally-friendly design, Frasers Tower is a testament to this commitment. 

The gravity-defying sculptural works of Zheng Lu are deeply influenced by his study of Chinese calligraphy. He uses language as a pictorial element, inscribing the surface of his stainless-steel sculptures with thousands of Chinese characters. In this particular work, the characters - Collaborative, Respectful, Progressive and Real - underpin Frasers Property's unifying idea, 'experience matters'.
